About Us

Emmanuel Baptist Church was established in 1977 as a mission church with twelve members meeting in a Stallings storefront building. Reverend Jack C. Hildreth was called as Pastor on June 25, 1978.

In 1982 the congregation moved to the "little white block" building in Monroe where the membership grew to 100 strong. In 1991 the church purchased five acres of land and built a 2,500 square foot building on the current site at Morgan Mill road.

As the lord continued to bless, the church has undergone several building projects. The original Sanctuary was expanded, a Fellowship Hall, and Education Building were added. In 1998, a new facility was built to add a 1,000 seat Sanctuary. In 2002, a Family Life Center was constructed.
